Many of our Stewards have taken NVQ Courses in Spectator Safety, most have First Aid training and all have been trained in all aspects of stewarding services.

While stewards don't need specific training or a license for their role, their function is equally crucial as that of an SIA-trained employee. Hence, it's imperative to ensure stewards receive proper training. At CEA Events, we provide in-house training to all stewards, coupled with on-site briefings at each event to enhance their skills and knowledge.
In addition to our in-house training, we offer NVQ Level 2 & 3 in Spectator Safety for those looking to advance in the Event Management field. Our aim is to deliver impeccable service, which is only attainable with the best team. Our stewards are known for their enthusiasm, politeness, professionalism, and competence, making them the exemplary public face of every event.
Should any staff member feel inclined to undergo a first aid course, we highly encourage them to do so as it's a vital company requirement for all sites to have trained first aid personnel. The more staff members we have with first aid training, the better equipped we are to handle any situations that may arise during events, ensuring the safety of both our team and event attendees.

Event stewarding jobs are about looking out for the welfare of the event attendees - and sometimes you might be the first person on the scene in the unfortunate event that someone needs medical assistance. You might be required to perform basic first aid while you wait for the emergency services to arrive.
Additional responsibilities may include directing traffic, overseeing crowd management, and cooperating with public safety officials during the event.
